Message from the Founder
Welcome to GLOW, our collective journey towards igniting change and nurturing hope worldwide. Born from a poem I penned in a moment of doubt, “believe in yourself,” my path took an unexpected turn, leading to discoveries and connections across continents. Meeting children and youth who shared a unified dream of bettering our world, yet felt powerless in how to achieve it, sparked a realization within me. It underscored the essence of self-belief and our combined strength to forge positive change, laying the foundation for GLOW. Here, we unite art and science, empathy with innovation, to tackle pressing global issues—health, hunger, and support for the marginalized.
GLOW is kindled by the wisdom of my grandparents, Chaya, Chittaranjan, Ram Mohan Rao, and Subhadra, embodying “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” – the world as one family. They taught me resilience in the face of adversity and the power of self-belief through their personal battles with health, instilling courage to transcend personal challenges. Their legacy fuels GLOW, illuminating our path with the belief that compassion knows no borders, and every soul is a cherished member of our global family.
Joining GLOW means joining a family determined to make a meaningful difference. Together, we aim to empower every child to believe in their potential to change the world and provide them with the means to do so.

Introduction
Embarking on a mission to empower communities and ignite change, GLOW is at the dawn of its journey. With a clear vision and unwavering commitment, we are poised to tackle global health crises, enhance food security, and uplift migrants and displaced populations. Join us as we outline our path forward, setting the stage for meaningful impact and collaborative successes.
Year One: Laying the Foundations
- Strategic Partnerships: Forge key partnerships with like-minded organizations, local communities, and global advocates to amplify our reach and resources.
- Program Development: Launch our inaugural projects focused on “Hygiene” and “community gardens” designed to address immediate needs while laying groundwork for sustainable change.
- Volunteer Network: Build a robust network of passionate volunteers, from high school and college students to professionals and retirees, ready to lend their skills and time to our cause.
Year Two: Expanding Our Reach
- Impact Assessment: Implement tools and methodologies to measure the effectiveness of our programs, ensuring we adapt and evolve based on tangible outcomes and community feedback.
- Awareness Campaigns: Launch awareness campaigns to highlight the challenges facing underrepresented communities and mobilize public support for our initiatives.
- Educational Programs: Introduce educational workshops and resources to empower individuals with knowledge and skills for self-sufficiency and resilience.
